The Alert Logic® Virtual Patches for AWS WAF allows you to add preconfigured conditions to your Web Access Control Lists (ACLs) when using Amazon Web Services (AWS) WAF. Our virtual patches will protect against exploitable vulnerabilities for the WordPress content management system (CMS) and plugins, including those listed in the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) database.

To purchase and install the Alert Logic Virtual Patches for AWS WAF from the marketplace:
To purchase and install the Alert Logic Virtual Patches for AWS WAF direct from the AWS WAF Console:
- When you create or manage a Web Access Control List (ACL), you will be prompted to create or manage rules within the Web ACL. The Rule Management screen will include a list of marketplace listings.
- From the Marketplace list, select the Alert Logic WAF Rules Set, and click Buy and Subscribe. The rule group will be added to the Web ACL and can be managed within the Web ACL settings.
Note: Alert Logic recommends you first install the rules in a testing environment before installing in production. Also, Alert Logic recommends that when you install the rules for the first time in production you place the rule group in Count mode.
