When Alert Logic® Threat Manager™ analyzes traffic and a subsequent incident is generated, the incident is tagged with a threat rating. Note the Threat field in the following image.
The customer then receives a notification from the Alert Logic console with a report based on the incident. A severity level is assigned to the incident notification based on the threat rating for the incident.
Severity levels are assigned based on incident threat ratings as follows:
