Note: This error only covers issues when the notifications state that they have been ”Delivered”, rather than the notification not appearing in the history or having the status of ”Created”.
If you are not receiving notifications in Alert Logic® Threat Manager™, you will need to explicitly whitelist us—especially if the email address automatically creates tickets. If the status in the Alert Logic console says “Delivered”, that means we have sent the mail notification to a third-party email address.
The following third-party email addresses need to be whitelisted:
- We use a third party to send notifications. When they contact the customer’s mail server, the Envelope From: value is given as bounce_md<some long ID string>@mandrillapp.com that allows them to detect bounces.
Note: This causes issues, as @alertlogic.com is the expected origin for the notifications.
