Some Alert Logic® console users are experiencing an issue in which the current user account that they are on is switched back to their most recently managed and/or initially logged in user account. This occurs when:
- a) the customer has switched from one account to another within the console (for example, from their own account to a managed account), and
- b) the customer accesses any Alert Logic console page directly via a URL (rather than through the console).
This occurs because Alert Logic utilizes single sign-on (SSO). During the course of your browsing, and switching between user accounts in the Alert Logic console, your SSO session in Auth0 is stored and remains in the browser. The browser remembers the last account that you logged in with or managed successfully and reloads that account rather than the account you switched to.
In order to keep this from happening, avoid accessing a new page in the Alert Logic console by directly entering the URL in a new tab or window. Instead, navigate to the page through the console. If you do go to a new page via URL, the console will load either the last known account or your initially logged in account rather than your current account.
Finally, Alert Logic recommends that you continually confirm that you are in the correct user account before making changes.
