Note: The following information applies only to those customers who subscribe to the Alert Logic® SIEMless Threat Management™ product.
Cross-network protection is now available for configuration in manual deployments within the Alert Logic console. The cross-network protection feature allows for a network configured with an appliance to provide protection to other networks under the same Alert Logic console account with agents installed.
Cross-network protection is available for manual deployments in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and data centers for network intrusion detection and/or scanning functionalities.
While you will be able to configure protecting networks and protected networks within the Alert Logic console, connectivity will only work if you have configured the networks to talk to each other within your environment. Further, protecting networks must have appliances configured, and protected networks must have agents configured. Requirements and configuration details can be found in our Cross-Network Protection documentation.
Configuring Cross-Network Protection
You can set up cross-network protection within a manual AWS, Azure, or data center deployment in the Alert Logic console by following the steps outlined in our Configure Cross-Network Protection knowledge base article. This information also includes removing cross-network protection connections.
