Note: The following information applies to all customers who are using the new Alert Logic® Incident Console.
Webhooks allow you to send real-time data from Alert Logic directly to a third-party application - more specifically, any public-facing web server configured to handle HTTP callbacks. You can now configure webhooks within the Alert Logic console to send incident notifications to a target webhook URL that you configure.
Within the Alert Logic console, you can configure and test webhooks, as well as configure and manage incident notifications to be received via webhooks. See more detailed information on these capabilities - including configuring, managing, and setting up notifications for webhooks - in our Webhooks documentation.
To add a webhook in the Alert Logic console, navigate to the Settings menu () < Webhooks > yellow plus sign (). A sidebar will appear, within which you will enter a name and target URL for your webhook and test the JSON to confirm it has been successfully added.
For more detailed steps and information on configuring webhooks, see the Add a new webhook documentation.
To configure notifications for webhook incidents in the Alert Logic console, navigate to the Settings menu () > Notifications > Manage Subscription of Others. At the bottom of a given account, you will see the current webhook notification settings. To manage the settings, click on the desired webhook and add accounts to Escalations or Threat Levels.
For more detailed steps and information on configuring webhook notifications, see the Configure your webhook incident notifications documentation.
