Several Alert Logic® reports now include the flexibility to choose to view report data for specific months or weeks rather than within a certain date range relative to the current day the report is being viewed. Additionally, two reports include new data points and graphs and charts.
Enhanced Report Date Range Selection
Prior to this change, several report date range options only allowed users to choose a period of time relative to the date that the report was being viewed. While many reports continue to use this option, the Vulnerability Analysis Reports for Alert Logic Essentials, Professional, and Enterprise customers now provide monthly and weekly versions of each report that include the option to choose which of the last 9 weeks or 13 months you want to see data for. These monthly and weekly reports allow you to select as few or as many weeks or months at a time that you'd like to see data for. For example, users can now view report data from the week of February 3 or the months of October and November 2019, rather than only for the last four weeks or last five months.
This new multiple month and week data selection option is currently available for the following Vulnerability Analysis reports found within the Alert Logic console at main menu () > Validate > Reports > Vulnerabilities:
- Monthly Vulnerability Summary
- Weekly Vulnerability Summary
- Monthly Top 10 Vulnerabilities
- Weekly Top 10 Vulnerabilities
- Monthly Vulnerable Hosts Explorer
- Monthly Vulnerable Hosts Change Trends
- Monthly Vulnerability Distribution Explorer
- Weekly Vulnerability Distribution Explorer
- Monthly Vulnerability Change Trends
