Several report updates and one new report are now available in the Alert Logic console. Report updates include improvements to report scheduling options, and a new non-interactive report Monthly Log Review Details is available to schedule.
Report Updates
Reports can be found in the Alert Logic console at >Validate > Reports. The following updates have been made to extend report scheduling options:
- Additional options are now available for report formatting and file attachments. Under Report Options, you can choose from Full (PDF File), Summary (PDF File), Data Only (CSV File), and Summary and Data (Compressed File). Note that all format options are not available for all reports. Under Options, you can still choose to attach a file of the selected format to your report email notification.
- The option to generate a report weekly now offers a selection of which day of the week you want the report to run on. Find this change at Generate Report > Weekly > on this day.
- The option to generate a report monthly now offers a selection of which day of the month you want the report to run on. Find this change at Generate Report > Monthly > on this day.
- When choosing a local time at which to run a report, Alert Logic now notifies you if the selected time would result in an incomplete report. Choose a valid time in the range to avoid an incomplete report. Find this change at Generate Report > on this day > at this local time.
New Monthly Log Review Details Report
A new report, Monthly Log Review Details, is available in the Alert Logic console at icon > Validate > Reports > Threats > Log Review Analysis > Monthly Log Review Details. This report provides details on the anomalies and alerts detected in all daily Log Review Summary incidents for a selected month. This report is not interactive, and you will not be able to preview the contents of the report in the Alert Logic console. Create a one-time or recurring schedule to have the report delivered in an email to selected recipients in a PDF file.
