How does Cloud Insight decide what /28 subnet to occupy?

  Cloud Insight chooses an available block of 16 addresses, as a naturally aligned CIDR network, in each protected VPC. Currently, Alert Logic chooses the lowest-numbered available network of this size, though this is not guaranteed behavior.
  
  

  Example VPC: 10.0.0.0/24, with 10.0.0.0/25 in use. Cloud Insight will generally choose 10.0.0.128/28.

  Example VPC: 10.0.0.0/16, with 10.0.0.0/24, 10.0.1.0/29, 10.0.1.24/29 in use. Cloud Insight will generally chose 10.0.1.32/28 ("10.0.1.8/28" is the right size, but not an actual CIDR block).
