POLL: Which is the more secure operating system - Windows or MacOS?

  Mac OS +1

  Mac OS is more secure - this may change in the future but right now Windows has too many vulnerabilities.

  I reluctantly say Mac OS, but that's because it's more of a closed system than Windows.  Windows is more open so that makes it easier for hackers to write malicious code for the probably millions of different hardware and software combinations.

  As it stands today, macOS (10.13 High Sierra) is still more secure than Windows, due to the proprietary nature of Apple's operating systems. However, as Apple trends towards allowing more 3rd party applications, the macOS may start to see an increased amount of security risks.

  I also vote Mac OS, but https://www.cvedetails.com/top-50-products.php?year=2017 provides an interesting perspective from a raw CVE count for last year. A deeper dive into severity and such would be interesting.
