Is scanning supported in Microsoft Azure?

Some Alert Logic® products and services do support scanning in Microsoft® Azure™.

Both legacy and MDR entitlements support scanning in Microsoft Azure in the following ways:

• External scanning of Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) external IP addresses or host names
• External scanning of Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) applications when scanned via external IP address or host name
• Internal scanning of Azure IaaS
• For internal scanning, agent-based scans are supported
• PCI ASV scanning of Azure IaaS external IP addresses or host names
• PCI ASV scanning of Azure PaaS applications when scanned via external IP address host name

Note: Legacy entitlements do not currently support internal scanning of Microsoft Azure PaaS.
