How do agents cache data?

Network data is not cached, as the quantity of data is prohibitive and would be a risk to operation of the system. Windows Event log data is not cached, as the windows event viewer already provides local persistent storage.

Syslog is cached on the host. This is configurable and defaults to 500MB.
