Does the Alert Logic agent require a reboot after installation?

The Alert Logic® agent only requires a reboot on Windows machines so that the network capture library and WinPcap service module can be installed. A reboot would not be necessary if WinPcap was previously installed on the server as part of another application.

Linux does not require a reboot for agent installs.
