The following article describes how to set up an automated email notification similar to Alert Logic® Threat Manager™ collection alerts for when a Web Security Manager™ appliance is no longer in the “OK” status.
Note: The following information applies only to customers with Alert Logic® Cloud Defender™ or Alert Logic Web Security Manager™ entitlements.
Solution
- In the Alert Logic console, click Configuration, and then click WAF.
- In the left-side panel, click Appliances.
- To the far right of the applicable appliance, click Manage Appliances.
- On the left-side panel of the display box, under System, click Configuration.
- In order to fill in the highlighted sections shown above, review the help documentation by clicking on Help on the bottom right of the display page.
- Find section 1.4 SNMP and apply the appropriate information into the highlighted boxes.
- Once completed, click Save Settings at the bottom right of the display page.
