Alert Logic has released several updates to streamline working with incidents in the Alert Logic console. These updates include an improved layout showing more incidents on screen, faster page load speed, and improved navigation.
Improvements to the Incident Console
The Incidents Console can be found in the Alert Logic console under > Respond > Incidents. The incidents list within the Incidents Console has been updated to allow more incidents to display on screen at the same time. All the columns and related data that were previously available can still be displayed, and the layout has been improved to condense the information for easier navigation. In addition, improvements have been made to allow the Incidents page to load significantly faster.
New Options for Preview Panel and Incident Details
Additionally, the preview panel is now accessible by clicking an incident row on the table. Previously, the preview panel automatically displayed on the right side of the screen, and details were displayed by hovering over an incident. Now, you can choose when to display a preview of the incident details and close the preview panel as desired, allowing more of the incident table to display when details are not needed.
To drill down to full details for an incident, simply click the link for the incident in the first column to access the Incident Details page. You can also open the incident details in a new tab by clicking the new icon and selecting Open in new tab.
Choosing Columns and Downloading Data
Features such as selecting which columns to display and downloading the incident list are still available using new icons in the Incident Console.
As with the previous version of the Incidents Console, you can select which columns you want to include in the Incidents list. You can also now rearrange the order of the columns as desired. This option is available by clicking the icon above the table.
You also now have the option to include multiple lines of data in each row, allowing you to more easily read the incident data when numerous incidents are listed. To include multiple lines of data in each row, click the icon and select Toggle multi-line table rows.
To download the entire incident list, simply click the new button to export a CSV of the incidents list.
New Location for Bulk Actions
Previously when performing bulk actions, the bulk actions bar displayed at the bottom of the screen once you started selecting checkboxes in the incidents list. Now, a bulk actions box displays above the incidents list, which can be used to perform actions such as closing and snoozing on the selected incidents.
With these enhancements, you can more efficiently manage your incidents and navigate the Incidents Console more intuitively.
