Alert Logic Managed Detection and Response customers now have access to an improved layout and the following new widgets in the Alert Logic console for the Vulnerability Summary dashboard:
- Open Instances with Known Exploits
- Vulnerability Instances by Exception
- Open Vulnerability Instances by Category
- Open Vulnerability Instances by Deployment and Severity
The new Vulnerability Summary Dashboard can be found in the Alert Logic console under > Dashboards and select Vulnerability Summary (New) from the drop-down menu.
Read on to learn more about each enhancement.
Open Instances with Known Exploits
This new widget displays the current count of instances of open security vulnerabilities that have a known attempted or successful exploit available. You can click the INVESTIGATE button to view the filtered list under the Open section of the new Exposures Console page.
Vulnerability Instances by Exception
This new widget displays the current count of instances of security vulnerabilities that have been granted an exception from the Open instances list by being disposed for a specific time period or concluded until the next assessment. You can click on the graph to view the filtered list under the Disposed or Concluded section of the new Exposures Console page.
Open Vulnerability Instances by Category
This new widget displays the current count of instances of security vulnerabilities for each category of vulnerability scan or assessment. You can click on a bar in the graph to view the filtered list under the Open section of the new Exposures Console page.
Open Vulnerability Instances by Deployment and Severity
This new widget displays the severity breakdown of open security vulnerabilities instances for each deployment. You can click on the deployment name or the graph to view the filtered list under the Open section of the new Exposures Console page. Also, you can click the INVESTIGATE button to view the unfiltered list under the Open section of the new Exposures Console page.
