As previously communicated in June 2026, the use of Fortra login credentials to authenticate to the Alert Logic console will be discontinued. Before November 12, 2026, you will need to follow the steps outlined here to update the login credentials used to access the Alert Logic console and support services.
While you can still use your Fortra login credentials to access PCI ASV scanning capabilities in Fortra VM, the user synchronization between the Alert Logic console and the Fortra VM console will also be discontinued on November 12, 2026. As a result, you will now need to manage users separately in each console.
The steps for managing users in the Alert Logic and Fortra VM consoles are provided below.
Manage Users in Alert Logic Console
- Log into the Alert Logic console.
- Go to
> Manage> Users.
- You can create, delete and update the users on your Alert Logic account.
Manage Users in Fortra VM Console
- Log into the Alert Logic console.
- Go to
> Configure > Fortra VM PCI Scanning.
- Use your Fortra login credential to authenticate.
- Go to Account > Users.
-
You can create, delete and update the users in your Fortra VM account.
NOTE: The Alert Logic Role PCI Administrator role with User administration permissions is required to manage users in Fortra VM.
