02/27/2024: Bulk Action for Scan Now

The Scan Now feature in the Alert Logic console can be used to run an expedited internal vulnerability scan on a specific host as soon as possible, outside of its normal schedule.  

Alert Logic Managed Detection and Response (MDR) customers now have access to enhancements in the Alert Logic console for selecting multiple hosts and perform the Scan Now action in bulk.

The Assets view is located in the Alert Logic console at  > Investigate > Assets. You can now select up to 20 hosts from the list to run an expedited scan using the Scan now action.

Note:  Scan now will not appear in the bulk action drop-down menu if more than 20 hosts are selected.

If there are any host or port exclusions for the selected hosts, you are presented with a pop-up window that allows you to choose whether to honor or override the exclusions.

Also, you are informed if your selections include hosts that will not be scanned such as Alert Logic appliances or hosts outside the scope of protection.
