12/10/2024: Alert Logic Agent 2.26.0 Available

An updated version of the Alert Logic agent is available. This version is recommended for all customers. Existing users of the Alert Logic Agent can upgrade their existing agents using the procedures below.

This update can be applied manually today. It is currently scheduled to be applied automatically to existing installed agents starting on January 15, 2025.

Note: This update does not affect the Extended Endpoint agent or the Fortra Agent available for Fortra XDR customers.

Release Notes

This release includes the following updates since Alert Logic Agent 2.25.0 (June 4, 2024).

Functional Improvements

• Line breaks in Windows event log messages are preserved, to aid the development of future analytics.
• The collection method of FIM Windows registry events is improved, allowing for detailed event metadata, including specific key and value names modified.

Bug Fixes

• The remotely updated Windows master executable is no longer started with below-normal priority, fixing service start timeouts.

• Downloaded update installer files are now deleted after successful installation.
